LP Artwork: When Your Lover Has Gone

Here's a vintage cover: the 1958 release, When Your Lover Has Gone, by the young singer, Sue Raney, who was signed to Capitol at the tender age of just 17. Moreover, who was assigned to take care of the arranging and conducting? None other than Nelson Riddle, then at the peak of his popularity.

Miss Raney began her professional career in 1954 and even worked on American television as vocalist for Ray Anthony's orchestra prior to making this record.

Her most recent album, Listen Here: Alone with Alan Broadbent, was released in 2012.
