LP Artwork: Georgia Mancio Live at ReVoice!

The gifted British singer, Georgia Mancio, is to be congratulated - not just for the release of her new album but for creating and curating the ReVoice! vocal jazz festival in London over a five year period. The series provided a wonderfully intimate showcase for an array of international talent including Karin Krog, Carleen Anderson, Norma Winstone, Carmen Lundy not to mention the first UK booking of Gregory Porter.

She's currently taking a step back and focusing on her own singing career and is about to release an album with the fantastic pianist, Alan Broadbent, featuring songs they've written together.

LP Artwork: Mark Murphy/RAH

Recorded in the fall of 1961, RAH remains one of Mark Murphy's most highly-acclaimed albums.

An eclectic collection of songs and terrific arrangements by Ernie Wilkins and a stellar line up including Bill Evans, Ernie Royal, Clark Terry, Wynton Kelly and Jimmy Cobb.
Back when I still had a day job, Mark Murphy was incredibly supportive. Seems like only yesterday...
