LP Artwork: Confessin' the Blues

One of the most distinctive and expressive voices was that of Ester Phillips (b1935-d1984). I was introduced to her music through the multi-talented singer, producer, comedian, actor, Ian Shaw who let me hear her album entitled, Alone Again (Naturally). But the featured track on this week's show is from Confessin' the Blues, released in 1976 on Atlantic Records.
